The Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) is the most widely used tool to assess the severity of plaque psoriasis. Moderate to severe disease is defined as a PASI score greater than ten. The PASI is used to indicate response to treatment, expressed as PASI 75 or PASI 90, which refers to at least 75% to 90% improvement in baseline PASI score during treatment.
