Chorioretinitis is an inflammatory eye condition involving the choroid and retina (membranes which surround the eye). It can arise as a result of infection or diseases which weaken the immune system such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and tuberculosis. Symptoms include eye pain, blurred vision, sensitivity to light and excessive tear production.
