Join the National Headache Register

If you suffer chronic headaches or migraine join the Headache Register to help Headache Australia give you a voice.

You will be emailed approximately 8 times a year with current information, research development, details for participation for research projects and treatment trials. You will also get the bi-annual Brain Foundation newsletter, where you can read more about the research the Brain Foundation fund, including headache research.

Your contact details will never be given out.

Large numbers on the register lend considerable weight to requests for research funding from pharmaceutical companies and the government.

About Headache Australia

Headache Australia is the only Australian charity that aims to support the more than 5 million Australians affected by headache and migraine. Headache Australia is an initiative of the Brain Foundation – a national charity raising funds for research from community donations.

Vision and Mission

The mission of Headache Australia is to reduce the incidence and impact of the headache and migraine disorders through the provision of community awareness and funding research.

Programs and Services

The programs of Headache Australia are:

• Raise public and government awareness of headache disorders, their prevalence and impact in society, and of the Brain Foundation, through Headache Australia, as the only public, national organisation representing those affected by headache disorders.
• Develop freely available public education and support programs aimed at those affected by headache and migraine including a specific program for children.
• Develop education programs for health care providers at all levels.
• Partner with other agencies to deliver programs and services.
• Promote and encourage headache and migraine research.
• Undertake advocacy on behalf of those affected by headache disorders, to gain the support of government.
• Raise funds from community donations to support the programs emanating from these objectives and so benefit those affected by headache and migraine disorders.
• Recruit as many as possible to National Headache Register to keep registrants informed about developments and important research resource.
