B cells, also known as B-lymphocytes, are lymphocytes produced in the bone marrow which circulate in the bloods and form part of the acquired immune system. Their main role is the production of antibodies against foreign particles. They can mature into two types of cells, Memory B Cells and Plasma Cells.
